The story
LOTCLIP ("we", "us", or "our") provides a platform that lets automotive dealerships and salespeople share personalized customer pages containing videos, photos, quotes, and related vehicle information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LOTCLIP, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, phone number, and dealership details when you request early access, create an account, or contact us. When dealerships use LOTCLIP to build customer pages, we also process content they upload, including vehicle videos, photos, quotes, and window stickers, along with customer names and contact details submitted by the dealership. We automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and page-view activity (for example, when a customer opens a LOTCLIP page or views a video).
We use the information we collect to operate and improve LOTCLIP, including creating and hosting customer pages, notifying salespeople when a customer views or engages with a page, providing customer support, communicating with dealerships about early access and product updates, and maintaining the security and integrity of our platform. We do not sell your personal information.
LOTCLIP uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how customer pages are viewed (for example, whether a video was played or a quote was opened). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit some features of the platform.
We share information with service providers who help us operate LOTCLIP, such as hosting, video storage, and analytics providers, under agreements that limit their use of the data. Within a dealership's account, information a salesperson enters may be visible to other authorized team members. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of LOTCLIP, our users, or the public.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to continually review and improve our safeguards.

If you are a customer who received a LOTCLIP page from a dealership, you can also reach out to that dealership directly, as they control the content shared with you.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide LOTCLIP, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
LOTCLIP is intended for use by automotive dealerships, salespeople, and their adult customers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
